I am a Doctoral Researcher in Mechanical Engineering interested in ultra-short pulsed laser ablation. Previously, I have worked as a manufacturing and design engineer for several years, focusing on production processes and laser profiling. This influenced my passion for the subject area and led me to pursue this research project, for which I have been awarded full funding at London South Bank University.

I am investigating femtosecond laser interaction with matter using Molecular Dynamics Simulation tools and lab experiments. The aim of this study is to help improve understanding of the ablation process by analysing the involved mechanisms and further the knowledge towards a more deterministic precision manufacturing of nanosurfaces and medical procedures using laser technology.
