I am a lecturer in social work in the School of Allied and Community Health. My speciality is children, young people and families social work. I have over 20 years experience working within various services for children and families around London, in both statutory and third sector organisations.
Until 2022 I was still in frontline social work practice in London. My areas of specialty are child protection and looked after children.
I was also a school governor for a local authority secondary school for 16 years.
I am currently part of a team researching serious youth violence in Buckinghamshire.
