I commenced at LSBU in December 2022 as a senior lecturer in children's nursing, having spent the last 12 years at City, University of London as a lecturer in children's nursing.

I originally studied Adult nursing (1989) at the University of New England; Armidale, NSW, Australia before completing my BSc in Health Science (Nursing) and Paediatric Nursing certificate in 1994. I completed my MA in academic education in 2013 and PG Diploma in Health and Social Care ( nurse practitioning) in 2018

My areas of research interest include nurse practitioning in paediatrics in the emergency environment and primary care and the use of Simulation and Human Factors in developing teamwork and collaboration in multi-disciplinary teams in undergraduate students.
